[Just in] ViaTalk update email

Email from ViaTalk:
As a VT_Unlimited member, you are being updated. In our mailing on May 16, we stated that the ViaTalk service would be launching the following week. On Friday, May 27, we launced the first stage of the outside ViaTalk BETA which you will be invited to participate in as a VT_Unlimited member. We have taken the growing group of nearly 10,000 VT_Unlimited members and divided them up into several “phases”. As we work our way through each phase, members will be contacted over the course of the next few weeks.

Please rest assured that as a VT_Unlimited member, you are assured the opportunity to participate in the pre-launch and have access before the general public. You will, however, need to wait until the launch of your randomly assigned phase. You will receive an e-mail with additional information and instructions when BETA service is available to you specifically. Please do not contact us asking when your phase will be opened up; we will contact you.

We anticipate that all pre-launch group members will have been given the opportunity to learn more about and order VT_Unlimited service with the next few weeks. After all pre-launch group members have been given this incredible opportunity, the service will then be launched and made available to the general public.

Upon public launch, we will also be announcing the winners of our ViaVite Insansity Contest announced in the May 16th mailing including the winner of a new Dell computer system. Although the ViaVite Insanity Contest has come to an end, remember that we have an ongoing weekly contest through public launch. Every time you send a successfully activated ViaVite, you’ll automatically receive one entry into our weekly contest. Each Monday, we’ll select 4 winners.

For Monday, May 30, djack15, alasso12, chuckhoward7, and currentresident2005 were randomly selected in our ongoing contest to receive ViaTalk sweatshirts. To protect the security of their e-mail addresses, the domain portion of the e-mail address of each winner was excluded. All winners will be notified via e-mail directly with 72 hours and should follow the instructions in that e-mail for prize claim. Winners must claim prizes within 1 week of that e-mail or such prizes will be automatically forfeited.
Please know that our staff is working around the clock to be certain that ViaTalk will offer the highest-quality, most reliable broadband phone service available. Thank you for your patience as launch nears.
