It'd almost be easier for them to not allow the Internet if they wanted to avoid that. It'll ultimately help the country reform from the inside out though. I give China another 15-20 years before the State finally gives way to the younger populace who embrace Capitalism.
For their sake, I hope they never go into capitalism quite as far as the US.
It's almost a full circle.. Some of the stuff the US gov is doing reminds me of how China and other North Korea, Russia, Syria etc..

It's a sad day when people's rights are waived in the name of "security" pretty soon it will be 1984.

When your signature tagline includes "facts are meaningless", I suppose we should expect that your posts are all emotion without reference to facts?

At least that would explain why you think our government is doing things the way China and North Korea are. You should go live there for a year or so and see if you really believe we are close to that level.
