I don't know if this has been posted, and I did not take the pictures.
These are pictures of the storm that hit Hastings, NE on May 11th producing 9" of rain in under 2 hours with Softball/Baseball hail for 30 Min.
I just thought you would like to see them.

My boss told me that his wives friend took the pictures. They live out side of Hastings.

Holy Crap. Had these been taken with a higher resolution camera...they would be award winning!!!

Had I seen those clouds, I would have headed toward the nearest basement or storm shelter. Those look for all the world like the tornado clouds I recall seeing when I lived in the Midwest.

Those are awesome! My hands would have been shaking too much to take any.

That must be an amazing feeling, your heart racing while trying to take some shots.

Dang, here in Holland, cloud formations are not nearly so impressive!!! not by a long shot!!!!

I'd be sooooooooooooooooo thrilled if I could see something like that for real....

Even though it was obviously a severe storm, it looks like they are pretty lucky that thing didn't turn into a massive tornado. It appears fairly obvious that it was a rotating thunderstorm.

I think they were frame grabs from a video camera. Very impressive clouds, I'd be running the other way.:D

If they were, I would love to see it.
