Taxation without representation

I hate taxes just as much as the next guy, probably even more so. It's just history repeating itself, taxation without representation. Then you have the people who want everything in the world, so how do they expect the government to pay for it?

Well, quit pissing and moaning and actually sit down and write a letter to your "representative" threatening his job if he supports any more taxes of any kind. This is the only threat these parasites will listen to.

And, if you cant do it, quit whining.

No more taxes of any kind, eh? So how do you suppose the states pay for roads, schools, police and emergency response services, government operations and other services we come to expect from our local government? Taxes might not be liked, but they are in fact necessary. What really needs to be done is a major audit on how tax dollars are actually spent to makes sure the money is actually being put to good use.

You trim the fat in the government and there either won't be a need for more taxes or we will get a lot more things done for our community with the additional funds better utilized.

Absolutely, 100% agreement, couldn't have said it better myself. There's an insane amount of cabinet positions at the federal level, most of which don't really do anything. How about we create a Department of Watching the Money and give them the power to look into all other government agencies? Every dollar that gets spent ends up in someone's pocket. How about showing us who it ended up with and what they did to earn it?
