said by fortissimo :I have tried this since 0.70 and before and now I can't get it to communicate to my Sipura 3000. All fields showing Timed Out instead. My Windows has the firewall disabled (Win 2000). There is a username password, could that be the reason? I thought last time I changed that to no password and same. Computer and Sipura 3000 are on the same subnet and on the router. I can use web browser to go into the web server on the Sipura 3000 no problem. Any suggestions? Thanks. Take off the user password. I have tried enabling the basic HTTP authentication in the HTTPGET but this does not work on the Sipura's, I've succesfully used it on router web admin pages. Still looking for a solution.... -- FWD#64466(6PM-11PM GMT-5) »[Sipura] Make your Sipura Speak! - GetSipura Guide Drop me a PM if you'd like a custom Samurize plugin for your device. |

Can't remove my password for mine as my SPA2100 is only available from the WAN side and that's a publicly viewable static IP. I tried changing the GetSipura ip parameter to user[:]password[@]ip#[:]port# (as it's on a different port) (without the brackets) but that didn't work either.
Thanks for a great looking program, I yearn for the day I can use it for my Sipura.
Cheers, - Don |

1 edit | reply to digiblur Happy Holidays!!
Change Log: v0.80a - Several routines optimized (I hope no bugs were introduced!) - Activity log added to Line1(max of 4) - Line2 will be added in the next version - GetSipura would sometimes incorrectly detect Samurize's installation folder - fixed
As soon as the Samurize site is back I will upload this there. -- FWD#64466(6PM-11PM GMT-5) »[Sipura] Make your Sipura Speak! - GetSipura Guide
And now for the PAP2-NA and unlocked PAP2's. |

If it shows error running function then you haven't updated your DLL. Close Samurize first then replace the DLL. -- FWD#64466(6PM-11PM GMT-5) »[Sipura] Make your Sipura Speak! - GetSipura Guide And now for the PAP2-NA and unlocked PAP2's. |

| reply to digiblur Just around the corner... and yes, I've restarted my GetSipura config about 50 times between yesterday and today. The reading and writing to the log file works fine.
I will soon start working on a small application outside of GetSipura for parsing your log file with the ability to search for items, filter by name, number, line, duration, direction, etc. Basically a small reporting utility to compliment GetSipura. -- FWD#64466(6PM-11PM GMT-5) »[Sipura] Make your Sipura Speak! - GetSipura Guide And now for the PAP2-NA and unlocked PAP2's. |

| I won't be the first to say this is a fantastic resource. It would be fun to take the Get Sipura audio output and mix it (or override) with an alert tone over the whole-house sound system instead of a ringing phone.
Anyway, two questions:
1. It's not completely clear to me but the voice alert seems to be a function of your DLL, not Samurize. I am wondering if a different voice is available, for example Lwxana Troi aka Majel Barrett. Not that there's anything wrong with this guy. (Does he have a name?)
2. I've made a few minor changes in the GetSipura.INI file in the \plugins folder but the voice is still using the defaults. I've restarted the PC. What am I missing?
The changes (out of context) are: Line1Speech=Call from %NAME% %NUMBER% SpeechPitch=+10 LINE1MESSAGE_DELAY=30 LINE1FAILED=Warning. Registration Failure on Voice Line 1! LINE1MESSAGE=New voice-mail message waiting
Thanks! -- USNG:16TDN2870 Find your Lat-Long: Geocoder |

What version are you running? Did you restart GetSipura? It only loads the INI upon the first time it runs. Also check your Samurize config to make sure you are loading GetSipura.ini.
Yes, the speech hooks are located in GetSipura.DLL. The voice type is configurable in the Windows Control Panel -> Speech. -- FWD#64466(6PM-11PM GMT-5) »[Sipura] Make your Sipura Speak! - GetSipura Guide And now for the PAP2-NA and unlocked PAP2's. |

| Thanks for the response digiblur. I had added the lines to my own INI but then apparently failed to save the file before closing. PLUS my INI was in the configs folder not \plugins. My INI seemed to be working OK before with the modifications I had made for desktop appearance. I got confused about the different places to tell it to look for the INI so I just de-installed and re-installed. All working now.
Regarding voices, well, you can tell I am behind the curve. This is the first app outside of video and audio clips where I said "Sound is actually essential here!" I normally run with the speakers muted, so this is a real leap for me. I am running XP and just had Microsoft Sam but adding the free Microsoft Speech 5.1 SDK (68MB download) and that got me Mary and Mike, plus some other cool toys. -- USNG:16TDN2870 Find your Lat-Long: Geocoder |

| Good deal.. glad you got it going. If you aren't familiar with Samurize than the two INI files can get confusing sometimes. Remember you aren't locked into the sample look that ships with GetSipura, you can create your own look using the Samurize Config Tool.
