Even stranger is the fact that I failed to look at my Uniden phones from SunRocket before posting. And mine do have a hold button! No flash button though. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen a flash button on any phone. Is that affected by a quick press of the talk/end/on-hook button?

Edit: I'm wrong again! I have a GE DSS wireless phone with a flash button.

Doesn't the TALK button on the Unidens act as a flash/hold button?

Yes, the TALK button is also the flash button on the Uniden phones. You also have a dedicated hold button, but if you press that the other person will not hear music on hold.

Yes, the TALK button is also the flash button on the Uniden phones. You also have a dedicated hold button, but if you press that the other person will not hear music on hold.
It's not really a true hold button...I would term it maybe it a pseudo mute button that opens the intercom/ transfer menu.
