No naked DSL

I called Verizon today (4/19/05) to get naked on my DSL and they said that they had heard no word from the top saying that they can do this. I knew something was up with this post when there wasn't a link to a news article on Verizon's website. This news is total FUD as far as I can tell. Until an official press release article shows up on Verizon.net's website this is still a money conscious geeks pipe dream.
