It's not a buyout. The same large company, Entercom that owned Star owns Mike. It is a format change and they are getting rid of local talent, dj's. Not the best news I have heard. |

| It sucks... the scope of music they're playing is WAY too broad to hold on to my interests for the drive to work... And the fact that they got rid of their DJs, a big part of my enjoyment, really sucks... I'm happy with "whatever weekend" on Mix, and that's probably where I'll stay... |
