I just bought this little box, thinking it must be the latest and best from Linksys. When I went to set up my PPPoE on it for DSL I could not finish the installation because my login is longer than 22 characters! What did Linksys have in mind when they designed the firmware? Fortunately, there is a fix for the problem in the recent firmware update.
Still can't turn off the wireless section, however. Very dumb product! |

| Firmware version 1.02.8 fixes this limitation and increases PPPOe username to 32 characters.

I also find the inability to disable wireless befuddling. We're letting Linksys know that this is a frequently requested feature and should be addressed in the next release.

I appologize, I reread your post to find you had already found the fix. I need to read more carefully before replying.
Do you have any other thoughts on this router? Wireless performance concerns? |
