Is it possible to have 2 cable modem account with rogers (in one house) to get 120gb cap limit instead?

| You are allowed to have two modems, as I have done it once to load balance. It wouldn't give you a 120GB cap though. If you used one for half the month, then the other for the other half it would work.
Simple answer, you are allowed as many modems as you want (if you are willing to pay). How you want to load balance is up to you.

| Actually Rogers is a pain to deal with if you wanna register two accounts under the same household, unless you've got a tenant living in a basement, etc.
If you're willing to pay the extra money, have a friend, or a family member order the service at their house, and just take the extra modem and plug it in at your house, it will work.

Canada | It all depends on the person you get on the other line. Just say to them that you want to order 2 Highspeed connection, you can do it under the same account.

why they hell would you get another connection just for the bandwidth cap?
Talk to rogers, seeif you can figure out some kind of plan for extra bandwidth usage. When I canceled the lady said they were planning to do that after they released the the offical caps.
Not worth paying 100 bux for an extra 60 gigs.

join:2004-06-08 | but sometimes you get slow dsl or no dsl in your house/area.. I haven't try order dsl yet cuz I don't know how good my speed will be. There are no 'free dsl trials..'
I wonder if we can order 3web and rogers on the same line? |
