I wouldn't recommend neither as HD mp3 players are simply not designed for physical activities. Flash based MP3 players are simply the way to go. Ipod Shuffle ain't bad. -- I love Metal! |

| I don't agree. if you don't drop them - and there are loads of jogging-with-your-ipod belt/arm/whatever clips - then they are fine.
The disk only seeks once every minute or less, and for a second, so if you are a klutz and drop them you have a good chance it will be fine. Jumping around with one in your hand is not sufficient g force to make the read head hit the disk. |

| Well the risk of the HD mp3 player falling is very high if you participate in physical activities and if the HD player is dropped a very high risk that something bad will happen to the extremely delicate hard drive. Yet if a flash based player is dropped most likely nothing will happen. Plus HD based players are pretty hefty when you are exercising or whatever. -- I love Metal! |
