| Prioritizing VoIP
I am attempting to implement VoIP service on my wireless network. I am looking at using the Sipura SPA-2100 at the customer's premises which is a combined NAT router and analogue terminal adaptor. This allows VoIP traffic to be prioritised over any other traffic from the customers PCs etc. The next hop is the wireless link to my AP where no prioritization is possible. Next is my Mikrotik Router. I want to prioritise VoIP here so that if my backhaul is completely full, VoIP always gets through. However, I can't find a way to do it. The VoIP service is SIP based and the actual voice traffic uses RTP on random ports. Because the ATA shares an IP address with the router at the customer's site, I can't just prioritise by IP address.
Any ideas? |
