Difference between VCast and ev-do

Vcast = Broadband access-type multimedia through your CELLPHONE (music, video clips, etc). It uses ev-do (the actual broadband wireless type of service)

The ev-do the other people are talking about is a service provided through aircards that go into laptops so they can have unlimited wireless service ALL OVER without having to rely on hotspots. You can't even get the 80 dollars a month plan on a vcast phone (and if you could...why would you?)

P.S. for those wondering, At least for verizon wireless customers, If you use your vcast phone as a modem you will automatically get cancelled. (I should know since I sell it )

True, but the Service issues would be the same.
