As Jan (gosh I cant recall that whole username) and I can both confirm, the SBC Chicago DNS servers SUCK. I had major headaches on them, but going to a new DNS fixed everything right up. Pingplotter shows large amounts of loss to the chicago primary, over 10x more than the michigan. |

join:2000-05-11 | Jan's got other issues with his setup unrelated to the suckiness of any particular DNS server. I've not seen any problems here, but that doesn't mean your POP may not be having problems. I'm on Chicago, Redback 5. |
