| Help !!! Navapsvc.exe is giving problem
Could anyone help me with this problem. Last week I carried out sweep free space using HDcleaner program. After doing that I could not shutdown.
The error message i get when i shutdown is -- navapsvc.exe-Application Error-The instruction at "0x0040a31e" referenced memory at "0x00000000" The memory could not be "read". Click on Ok to terminate program.
I have un-install and re-install norton antivirus 2004 repeatedly but problem still there. After defrag the harddisk, the error message is gone but the shutdown process take around 1 min 40 sec. Before that it can shutdown real fast. I have carried tweak xp in shutdown registry and it does not help. search the forum and found alanwong are having this problem before but no answer to his problem so far.
