 5100b setup

Just got the 5100b, I am using a router with the pro package. What lights should be on? I have the following:
Power-on
Ethernet-on
DSL-on
Internet-off
Activity-flickers

Do I have to do anything special to configure the modem when using a router? Thanks.
John

What lights should be on? I have the following:

Power-on -Normal
Ethernet-on -Normal
DSL-on -Normal
Internet-off -Going through your router, this is normal. If using the modem to connect, th en it would be lit.
Activity-flickers -Normal, indicating traffic flow through the modem.

Do I have to do anything special to configure the modem when using a router?
If you're using a router, no.

If the router is doing the PPPOE and not the 5100B the Internet lite on the modem should be off.
The supported configuration is PPPOE on the modem and your router just doing DHCP. In that configuration the Internet lite on the modem is on indicating it is maintaining the PPPOE connection.
