Yeah, I know there's no way FIOS will ever be in this state.. we're always slighted on any new technology. Hell, much of the state still doesn't have DSL, and many areas that do pay prices like $150 per month for 1.5Mbps down and 512kbps up. Sadly, the best broadband provider for most of the state is Adelphia, which has 5Mbps down and 512kbps up, but they ban servers, so the 512 up doesn't really do much good.

GWI is nice but they're only in a few dozen coastal communities.

512 is plenty fast for 95% of the consumers out there. 128 up has done well for years in most areas. Heck, 384 is pretty standard on many cable systems.
