| Why?
I have absolutely no interest in gadgets like this one. Why people buy them is beyond me. Kids buying them, I can understand that but young adults and older people I really can't. Considering it's price tag I don't think Sony is targeting kids. -- Someone who finds a job they love will never work a day in their life. |

| reply to Anonymous yeah really it only costs 2x as much as a freaking xbox! this is probally just sonys way of getting in on the portable market, and/or something to make money before the ps3 comes out lcd screens might be cool, and black plastic might be also but i cant justify $300 for plastic! it better make movies, take pictures, pick up tv stations, and start your car remotely before i would even consider it for that much -- Read this! |

| reply to rawgerz uhm hey kid, get an appreciation in technology. miniaturization is the most expensive aspect of the computer industry, and even if you don't have the cognitive capacity to appreciate this new technology, its products like this that are the forerunners to the future products like the one you described. and $250? not that much. $50k for a Hummer 2? a $150k salary out of my tax dollars a month for ex-senators(for the rest of their life)... now that's a lot. Xbox is okay, but every system has their faults. the PSP is just now emerging and that's what everyone needs to remember; i think hackers will make a web browser and more regardless of wether or not Sony or any other company releases one. naive |

2 edits | When it comes to LCD/CRT monitors bigger is always better. I can't enjoy a game if I can't relax in my recliner and play. I don't need a portable gaming system. But I guess that's just me.
Also paying $49 a game for that is a major rip off.
Now if you can waste $250 because you think it's something worth showing off you...
...should send me some money

2 edits | reply to Anonymous haha thats how i think too..you either like portables or you dont and i think kids like that more i dont exactly ride a bus anymore so i dont know where i would even play it.. at home? id rather play on my xbox with a full screen, game pad, recliner and besides i think $50 for any system is a rip off but you got to bite the bullet sometimes i guess it takes like 2 years to make a xbox, ps2 game. those games for that should take like 5 months i cant see $50 for those games either, no thanks! maybe he can justify spending $600 on a video card, $450 on a CPU, or $67 on a CPU cooler -- Read this! |

| reply to Anonymous Nvidia= Junk, Get a Radeon x800, I can't really say that cause my computer is aging and its almost time to get a new one, I'll wait for the pentium D, also I hate portables, I'd rather sit a at home and paly games, or have a Xbox LAN party with my friends. Hand helds just arent for me, I'd play my Xbox on my 27" HDTV. |
