It's still better then my connection. Right now I am connected at a blazing 24.0kbps.

 It's always nice when people who have forgotten what dial-up is like chime in to say how bad something is...

I'd take the possibility of 1mbps downloads over dial-up 24kbps surety any day... who cares if it slows down to 60kbps under heavy load? It's still faster than dial-up.
