Unless you are having problems that can be pinpointed to the modem. It wouldn't hurt anything to upgrade to the SB5100. But there is no use spending the money. Unless you know your experiencing a problem that is caused by your current modem. That said I upgraded my old 3Com when Insight stated they were upgrading to the newer DOCSIS standard. Kurse0 join:2004-08-25 Springfield, IL	I am havoing no problems, was just curious. What does DOCSIS 2.0 bring to the table that wasnt in the older versions that I would need or notice? Anything? Thanks for all the helpful replies!
