I am also having a problem, but not sure if it is insight related or just something with my network. However, if I run bittorrent, I can download fine for the most part. But sometime later, my internet cuts out. When this happens I pause a torrent and my internet magically comes back. Not sure if this affects only my computer or other computers on my network... |

| same thing here! I reset my router thinking maybee ports weren't forwarding or something. upon reseting i could no longer access internet(mac address was no registered with isp) yet my bt transfers continued and speeds returned to normal >50kbps. After registering new mac address with isp so i could surf the web, speed dropped back to single digit and rarely climb over 5kbps. It seems to me that there has been some kind of traffic shaping implemented in the past week. Network hardware vendors such as sandvine have hardware which can now throttle specific traffic(i.e messaging, gaming, bittorrent) without completly blocking the port. |
