Transmit 3. It's the best.

Also there's a FAQ entry: »All things Macintosh »How do I FTP in OS X?

rbrowser lite (the free version). they have rbrowser too for a small fee, but free is good. better yet, try every single one of them out here .

It's not as cool with the hipsters it seems, but I like Interarchy about a million times better than Transmit.

A free alternative is Cyberduck:

Another vote for Cyberduck.. it seems a bit more intuitive than Captain, IMHO. Im in HUGE FTP DIR's and Cyberduck has been easier than Captain for that.

rBrowser is great, I didn't like Fetch, it didn't do some things easily enough

I like Cyberduck because it supports public key authentication for SFTP logins.

As a long time Transmit user, I finally gave up with it and moved to Yummy FTP. Transmit is very nice, don't get me wrong, but it has far too many reliability problems, especially for people like me who transfer thousands of files a day. I stumbled across Yummy FTP after trying out several of the other well known ones. Yummy FTP has a similar interface to Transmit, so it was a breeze to pick up but the most important thing is that I have had no problems with it at all. It even seems faster than Transmit. Highly recommended. Check it out: »www.yummysoftware.com

Add me to the small list of folks who can't stand Transmit.

I've been using Interarchy (already mentioned above) for many years and continue to love it.
