It will always be "spyware"

To me at least, all of these companies that have infested our computing experience over the years have been permanently branded in my mind as "spyware" (or whatever "ware" you wish to use) , and until these companies are out of business and gone from the face of the planet i will do everything in my power to keep this crap off of my system, no matter how much they try to clean up their so called "image".
