Since this is happening on 2 pc's, sounds like there could be a problem with the modem. Is your modem bridged(when just a pc is hooked up, you would probably connect using a username/password)?

| It all depends on if you bridged the modem, are you setup PPPoE in the first place or DHCP. I'm not sure. We have some bridged modems some that are NAT modems. 9 times out of 10, its a problem with the line before its a bad modem.
