If the price is right for wimax equipment then we may just get independent ISP competition again, which is good for the consumer. If not we continue consolidation to the bells. |

| I think the community based either nonprofits or co-ops such as »wirefreevan.com/phpBB2/index.php have the most to gain from WiMax taking off, right now, either WiMax or 802.11x are strong options for a community network, it is simply a matter of will the equipment be out, and affordable enough for deployment. That is the question. |
