I wonder if this is the last revision of Panther? I think they stopped at .8 of Jaguar as well, eh?

just installed and rebooted. Everything is working fine for me.

Note that I don't have any additional hardware installed though.

I just installed it as well, on my 12" PB. Install went fine, though it took a really long time to boot even to the login screen upon restart. Took like 3-4 minutes literally. Not sure why, maybe completing some post update things. I shut down and restarted, and the startup time is normal again.

For me, it slowed down Firefox and Safari. Every time a page is loaded, a beach ball appears, spins for a few seconds as the page loads, goes back to the arrow, spins for a split second again. THEN the page fully loads. Both browsers feel sluggish to me as compared to 10.3.7.

I hope it's not just me...iBook G4, 768 RAM

No such issues for me. Everything seems nice and smooth here thus far. Didn't take long on the reboot either. I did run a repair permissions first thing after the reboot though.

Any issues? Cal says that some people are reporting slower performance and hotter RAM controller temps on G5s

dual 2.0 1.5gb here. no issues with fans like some report. Performance seems identical.

I did have one weird problem with the power LED turning off when I brought the computer out of sleep. It only happened once and hasn't happened the 5 or 6 times since, so I don't count it.

The power LEDs on my 17" Studio LCD and G5 are both disabled, except when I put the machine to sleep; the "snore" effect works.
