Guess who is raising rates faster and more often?
Yea satelite companies raise their rates but you don't see them raising their rates in a outrageous manner like cable companies do.
According to the facts in this article, cable companies raise their rates higher in places where they don't have competition.
Satelite only raises prices because it has to and it is still cheaper then cable.
Cable companies raises rates because they want to. That is the difference. |

| But as real Telco's and ICLEC's offer up faster and faster bandwidth (read this as Fiber) and then offer up video over the IP... the cable co's are destined to become piles o'dust at some point in time..likely sooner than later |
