...should be permitted to contribute money to political campaigns or buy political advertising. Business has no vote in elections thus has no business manipulating it. Business as an entity shouldn't have Constitutional protections. If the employees or owners should want to no problem, but they should only do so as individuals and with monetary limitations. Same goes for unions and other lobbying groups. It's all the same brand of corruption.
Sure, some of my Conservative bretheren say that politics affects business to so why should they have a say? I say it affects felons and children to and they can't vote either. It affects illegal aliens and other non-citizens too and they can't vote (yet anyway, give California a few months to correct this oversight). So with me anyway I don't buy that arguement.
Perhaps when the money is removed will the system begin to serve the public it's supposed to. -- Don't get it, demand it! The Anime Network www.theanimenetwork.com |

| Business has and will continue to run government from here on out. Campaigns are controlled by the two major parties and business contributors. Legislation is lobbied for by the industries. Welcome to America. -- 12/05/04... Goodbye Mickey.12/06/04... Goodbye Matthew. |
