| [VPN] WRT54g as a VPN Server
I'm trying to figure out how to get a linksys wrt54g as a connectable vpn server for access. I'm not having any luck trying to figure out why I cannot open port 1723 to the router to even establish a connection.
Google hasn't produced any results either. -- [Internet] Rogers Yahoo! Extreme 5mbps/800kbps [Modem] Scientific Atlanta WebSTAR DPX2100 DOCSIS 2.0 [Router] WRT54g Alchemy-6.0-RC5a FBN-Edition [Computer] P4 2.53GHz 1024MB RAM ATi 9700 Pro Sound Blaster Audigy |

1 edit | You'll need a third party firmware: »Linksys FAQ »What alternative firmware is available? if you want the router to be the server.
If you want a PC behind the router to serve as a pptp or IPSec server, then you'll need to set the router up for port forwarding here: »192.168.1.1/Forward.asp. |
