I use AOL BYOA for 9.95 with Verizon DSL which has speeds of 1500/384. I notice a difference in speeds with TopSpeed on. Does everyone else here notice a difference? |

| reply to Rob A With their top speed technology, I haven't noticed any browsing difference. It's been the same like usual. I prefer browsing via IE though. That's just personal preference, however.
I've tried using Road Runner, Optimum Online and Verizon aDSL, still, nothing.
I think the "top speed" technology was introduced for dial-up users more so .. to try enhancing their browsing experience. I've yet used dial-up in months with AOL, so I'm really stumped if the feature works or not. -- Can you say ... oh noes!?!?!?! |

| reply to Rob A I only use dialup when I have my laptop in hotels, other then that I always open Netscape or IE separately when I want to go to websites beyond the aol content. It is faster then it used to be on dialup, but that may also be attributed to faster lines and modems today compared to several years back. |
