You could use the regular database/signatures instead of the extended database/signatures. |

If I disbale real-time protection, I can easily install and run mirc.
Is there no feature in KAV to exclude application?
I'm using 5.0.x btw.

| How can I make an exception so KAV doesn't detect it as a virus, because whenever I goto install MIRC, I get this whenever I lauch mirc.exe, then KAV deletes it.
