Just curious ... where did you get that brochure?
Just wondering where Mach10 might be available first.
Maybe we'll get lucky and a RCN rep will stop in with more info.

It will first be available in NYC, Boston, and the Lehigh Valley. |

I cant believe this they can afford to upgrade to 10mbps but 1-way customer are still stuck on this telco sh%t. Something gotta be done about this problem. Why is it that were still on 1-way and don't even get close to 3mbps (Well i don't) and still stuck on this telco upload. RCN Cmon was going on here. This has made me mad.  You need to upgrade now!! |

This could explian those cmts upgardes.
But there is no change to upload, which sucks.
So even though the pamphlet says only select users get the upgrade, all mach 7 users get the upgrade? |

trufully, i am not so dissapointed about the upload, because i am yet to recieve my advertised 800...but when they finallly do my upgrade, i will want it 1000 upload even more |

Yeah, lets upgrade the people with fast cable to faster.
They consistently forget about the people with one way.
Oh well, one of my monthly checks of Verizon's website has finally paid off. Lets see, stay with RCN 3000/14 (500/14 most times) or go with the 1792/448 that I just got today. I choose verizon.
Oh well, goodbye to everyone who ever help me out, and to everyone else too. Wish you all the best of luck with RCN. I'll be back in about 3-5 years from now when they decide to rewire the outskirts By then i may have fios though. |

ok so i have the mach 7 plan and if im getting download speeds of 9618kbps on nyc.speakeasy right now then when we move to mach 10 what will i be getting?? 12000kbps down?????????? damn thats nice numbers wish upload would increase |

Speakeasy is not accurate when it comes to these high speed connections. That is why we get speeds higher than what is advertised. Which I believe are not possible because the modem configuration won't let it go over 760000 bps. |
