where are these people?

BellSouth will also continue to expand its fiber-to-the-curb (FTTC) network, which currently passes one million homes, to an additional 180,000 customers in 2005.
lol.. passes is right.

They've been "rolling out" fiber down in Miami-Dade for the past 2 or 3 years at least now; and not 15 miles north here in Fort Lauderdale, well... you get the picture lol

..anyone know what Comcast is like down here?
