The dot noise is noticable for analog channels and when you switch to an analog channel the usual delay that occurs with digital channels is absent.
With more than half of the digital channels are actually analog there is no real incentive to upgrade to digital and pay for extra STB rental fees etc. for me. When they go 90% or more digital (and preferably HDTV by then) then I will probably upgrade. |
