so when will we see the MPAA sueing people for downloading TV shows now and burning them? or maybe they'll sue SBC for providing the technology built into the customers set-top box.

I have a gateway ar-230 dvd recorder/player... If i didnt have my dvr id be using that to record shows. No fed at my door yet

key word is always "yet" remember this thing NEEDS the DSL connection.

no reason the Feds can't make them require a "back door" to the system.

They want a back door to VoIP no reason why they wouldn't want one to the this service. especially since it burns the movies to DVD for on the go use.
