Re: Java does not run applets

I checked IE Tools/Internet Options/Advanced.
Under Java (Sun) there is check in Box:
"Use Java2v1.4.2_06 (Requires Restart)

Under Microsoft VM no box is checked.
Now when I try to run a Java Applet I receive:
"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX
controls on this page. As a result, this page may not
display correctly"
I am using a DSL Modem with NAT, Norton AV, and Zone Alarm set for Medium Security.
(please continue to send email notifications. I inadvertantly clicked on "do not send email" Thanks.

What do you have your IE security settings set at? It sounds like you might have SP2 installed which will disable pretty much all activeX. If this is the case then you will have to go into the security settings and monkey with them till it works. As I don't do a lot of browsing in IE I won't be able to help you much.

As for sending email notifications, I have no way to do that, the boxes that are used to control that only allow notifications to be delivered to you, not to be send to everyone else.
