Actually it will prevent Cell Phone usage. If memory serves, most Cell Phones are either about 800MHz or 1.9GHz. Also, it blocks half the commercial FM broadcast frequencies. The only way Cell Phones would work would be with an in building repeater. |

There is no way a screen like that could be tuned to block 2.4GHz WiFi and not 1.9GHz PCS signals. Unless the real market is for businesses who WANT to block cellular/PCS (restaurants, theaters, etc.) |

In a recent article here at BBR, »Churches installing cell phone jammers, people have debated about actually stopping cell phone signals by using jamming devices [which according to some posts in the article, is illegal] but while jamming the signals may be illegal, I don't think using something to block signals is. |
