4-6mbps can be pushed over a regular ADSL line. BellSouth announced that they were going to invest $34 billion into their whole infrastructure to upgrade to ADSL2+ (25mbps). Seriously if they are going to invest all that money for only 4-6mbps that would be a huge mistake. Hopefully with that much we will be able to see 25mbps. The distance rates for ADSL2+ are very critical as for speed goes. |

Here | Because they can beat the cable companies in terms of speed but they'll be able to offer more services. As always bundling is where the money's at. |
