Yep:-( San Jose Mercury News published the article that Lycos stopped the campaign. That's too bad, however, from other hand it has just proved the effectiveness of this tool. Have you ever seen those spammers so united when another "best - ever- anti-spam" filter or program hit the market? I do not think so.Which means that they are not effected and there is nothing to worry about. But as soon as they are hurt - wow! Bad guys good guys - everybody screams that the rights are effected. And what about the rights of those who are overloaded with stupid and dirty mails? Nobody cares. Yeah, money rules. Let it be so. Just the hope remains something will happen some day. Rest In Peace Lycos - chicken. |

| reply to ert345q Even if MakeLoveNotSpam disappears we can all still contribute stopping spammers by using SpamVampire. The source code can be easily modified to add your specific spammers and by running it from your PC you'll contribute to increase running costs them in exactly the same way as MakeLoveNotSpam!! |

  Sad to see MLNS go

Until someone packages it and updates the list, like "no ad host", its wont generate enough 'power' to cause a problem. |
