The issue that spawns the problem you mention is that young people often experience severe age descrimination while looking for work. They work harder and smarter than someone twice their age and make less than half of the money leading to feelings of resentment towards the world creating their glass ceiling. Why do you think young people always feel rebellious? Easy, the rest of the world is working to hold them down so they can keep what's theirs rather than having to share with the new hotshot. |

It's been discovered over and over that many bright young people have technical development that far outpaces their character development, and this limits the positions they can hold without making those in authority legitimately nervous. Very smart people can trade "intelligent" for "experienced", but that only goes so far.

Anyway.....you are exactly right. |

| Very funny kid: once you're finally old enough to drink you'll appreciate why a 42-year-old guy enjoys being asked for his ID.
