There was a story in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the other day about a local high school junior who had developed his own video production editing software and was selling it for $7,000 a pop to school systems around the country. He's already got companies lining up for his services when he graduates.

Kind of made me feel unaccomplished.

I'm still in High School, while I'm not top marks, I have had headhunters call me. Age means nothing in IT, some of the best known companies have been started by people still in high school.

As many people say, Marks are not the most important, ultimate thing in a young person's life. When it all comes down, I rather hire someone without good grades that's a pratical thinker than a breathing textbook that seems to be the standard A HS grad nowadays.
