What do you recomend for FTP

I tried using the FTP with OSX but it just fails bad. I tried to get 2 things at once and i just get the beachbaal of death. I can only do 1 transfer at a time and it failed 3 times. does anyone have a client that is simple to use and download with.

Exactly!

What on earth is wrong with "Terminal" -> "ftp"? (Unless you want a GUI)

I would only use command line FTP on a machine that didn't have a GUI.

Exactly. Drag'n'drop is nice if you're uploading a whole website or a bunch of pictures. Especially if you have nested folders. I don't thing mput or mget in ftp will do that. You'd have to go through the tar/untar process to do it in any kind of efficient way.

Transmit, unless I'm logged in remotely. Then it's ftp. I also like Cyberduck for scp transfers, but it will do ftp as well. Plus it's a duck.

Efficient is relative. I'd be willing to wager a UNIX or VMS guru could toss that crap up via ftp a lot faster than some kiddie with his graphical FTP client.

As a member of both clubs, I would have to concur that it depends.
