It just makes no sense for local politicos and utilities to pour taxpayer money down the drain on third-rate, proprietary Internet technology. BPL isnt a faux broadband, but given it enough time, you will see the out come. I would imagine people who hunger for broadband, but DSL is outta reach and Cable is just ripping off for 60-70 a month instead of 30, they will go for it.
