Why haven't MCI and its' resellers lowered prices, or increased speed? They must be looking to get out of xDSL service, or they think recent FCC rulings will force them out and they intend to suck up every buck possible until then. I'm getting kind of tired of paying $50 a month for 1.5/768, even for static IP service. They better get off the dime pretty soon.
Nobody is forcing anybody out.
