I checked out the prequal for new edge and received a list of isps from their site:

AT&T Business DSL Internet Service
ClearPath Networks
MCI Reseller login
TransEdge Reseller Proxy w/Covad Access
TransEdge Reseller with Bigfoot coverage
TFBnet
Speakeasy
Isomedia
Orbit Broadband

Problem is, I don't seem to receive server from any of them, or anyone else. I checked to see what my CO is CHNDOKMA. I've checked with mapquest and it seems I'm less than 4 miles away from the CO. Now according to the CO distance chart here, I should be having 2 options from new edge (IDSL - 26000ft, and SDSL192 - 20500ft). Is there a reason why I'm not seeing these?

Also, is this distance too far for most broadband service? don't care if its only 256/256, its better than 800/10 with 2k-3k ping.

This is due to the distance that mapquest gave you is not the wire distance but road distance. also the CO map on here is not always true. IT said i could get DSL before it was even available to me. When i last checked also it said i could get Earthlink DSL which is not available either.

If you would like to see what NEN allows you to get PM me your information and I will check NEN's PartnerNetwork Page.

I am an agent with NEN and can help with their products and sign customers up. NEN offers Sat. and Cable Modem now as well.

Thanks!
