this thing is great but its adding the stuff on my drive to the google search.... how do i get this? Dont want to see all the midget porn on my hard drive when am trying to google it ...
EDIT: found it. Need to buy a new pair of eyes and a brain while am at it. Its right there in prefrences. Funny.. I complain about others who cannot RTFM...  |

| Funny, that's one of the things that I like about Google Desktop (seeing local search results on the main Google results page).
On a semi-unrelated note, I had just uninstalled Blinkx (»www.blinkx.com) because of some performance impacts with indexing. Blinkx provides some additional functionality that GD doesn't (like cross-referencing with Web and blog results), but for searching, GD kicks tail. |
