I'll definitely have to give the Google desktop a try.
Microsoft has had something similar, through an acquisition, to this for a while. This is what I have been using. Good to see some more competition in this area.

| Check out the google one... Lookout is much different.... Lookout is primarily mail (though they also index files), but I think the Google one is a lot faster. I think I'll continue to use Lookout for mail searching, since its integrated right into Outlook for me. I wonder how long it will be before Google has an "outlook toolbar" or something to do searches from within Outlook. |
