I use sprint and Verizon for work , depending on the area. 15 k a sec down usually on the verizon network. And latency at about 400 ms. Like you said its not a broadband replacement. But is invaluable when your mobile to be able to vpn to work and fix issues remotely while you are on the side of the road. I do it and leave them run almost all day 12 hours a day depending on where I am going. Not to mention the internal Im services to save on cellular minutes -- "It's always funny until someone gets hurt......and then it's absolutely friggin' hysterical!"
