| 1x and 1xrtt are cheap now if you purchase an agreement. I run about 40 megs a day over it on verizon and pay less then $75 a month. But I also have company phones threw verizon as well.

| Cheap considering that they are mobile, pricy compared to dialup, dsl or cable. If I was mobile, and had 'good' connectivity at home, I'd be using a datacard or tethered phone. At home, my 26.95 dsl (1500/256) is cheap, and at work, my DS-3 (12 users) is damn fast

| Ok.. no more fighting on evdo vs. wifi... they are now compatible... or better said... complementary... you can now do evdo sharing over wifi using a small converter router...
