Regardless, there's no way I'm paying for an anti-spyware app unless there's 99.5% protection and/or removal rate, at the very least (and that seems unlikely now or in the future based on the inherent nature of the internet). None of those apps even come close, in contrast to their marketing claims.
Very informative article overall, but I think it's best highlight is for people not to believe the marketing hype by these companies - they're as bad, or worse, than the scumware (*gator*) companies themselves. |
